The Office of Residential Life and Housing is committed to the development of an inclusive and affirming environment where all residents are appreciated and valued. Residential Communities at Clark University celebrate and embrace the varying identities of our students related to race, color, religion, age, national and ethnic origin, ability, status as a veteran, language, socioeconomic background, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and political ideology. This diversity within our residential communities is an essential part of the living-learning environment and helps our residents foster a greater understanding of the human condition and the world in which we live. While gender is a factor we can take in account when making housing placements, we do not consider other identities in the assignment process. Any requests to not be placed with a student from a particular identity outside of gender will not be honored.
