Show name: The Dead and BEYOND…

Description:  My musical interests always begin with jam bands such as the Grateful Dead and Phish, and then branch out into almost all musical genres.  So I suppose that’s where I’ll begin this musical education.  Other genres I’m into include: indie, pop, alternative, techno, electronica, classic rock and roll, rap, hip-hop, r&b, blues and a little tiny bit of country.   I know it sounds like I’m in to everything, but I once talked to a man named Dennis McNally, who was the Grateful Dead’s road publicist for over twenty years, and we both agreed that music is not only about where you start, but about where you end up, and thus the progression from one genre to another.

Interests: music, the San Francisco Giants (this season is going well! Finallly…), baseball, urban geography, basketball, soccer, golf

Skills: I got skills to pay the billz.  No really.  My skills range from hanging out with five year olds all day, playing so many sports I cant count them all, art, guitar, doodling, growing my hat collection

First Record: Backstreet Boys or Nsync…yeah I know

Why I rock you (we love puns):  I rock u because I can flow sometimes.  I like to stay chill and keep it real.  I’ll play indie when it’s cold outside and hot damn folk music when I feel like barn dancing.  You never know where my mood may lead us but the possibilities are out of almost 10,000 songs, so u get the idea.  I’m from the West Coast, the San Francisco Bay Area to be exact, and we stay cool.  Call in a request if there’s something u wanna hear.  Chances are that I have it. 

Things we shall not mention: anything having to do with 15 year-old girls including but not limited to Taylor Swift and Hannah Montana, except maybe my sister Hannah every now and then
