Therese & Jill with picture board Pictures tell our story really well, and so did Therese and Jill as they staffed our table at Clark's annual Student Activities Fair on a sunny Friday afternoon. With help from Hannah and Christina, they chatted up the Outing Club with an endless stream of interested students and collected 180 new names for our mailing list.
Jill At the table, Jill's first official act was to keep everything from blowing away!

Students kept arriving from all directions and happily kept us on our toes! There was never a dull moment the entire time.

Wriju slacklining Tori slacklining Behind our table, our new slackline proved to be a highly popular attraction and gave everyone a chance to test their balance.

Slacklining is as easy as 1-2-3: Let go of tree...Balance...Touchdown!

Hannah building the fire By Sunday night, Hannah was skillfully getting the fire started for our annual fall marshmallow roast between Goddard Library and Bullock Hall. It has become our signature kickoff event, drawing scores of eager particpants every year, newcomers and seasoned Outing Club veterans alike.

Few can pass up the opportunity to enjoy good company in the glow of a warm fire while roasting tasty marshmallows.

Brickhenge This year we hung out until the fire was down to a pile of embers and then created "brickhenge," which apparently had some kind of strange, mesmerizing power!
