Fall '09 Kick-Off by Day and NightRock Climbing Wall & Marshmallow RoastSeptember 4th & 18th, 2009 |

We began our semester in style at the Student Activities Fair on the Green by inviting Central Rock to join us with their portable climbing wall. Needless to say, it attracted plenty of attention,
and climbers! By day's end we'd chatted with hundreds of students who stopped by our table and added 155 new Outing Clubbers to
our mailing list.

As day turned to night (and two weeks went by), we lit our fire on a fine Friday evening
as nearly 100 Outing Clubbers converged on the patio between Goddard Library and Bullock
hall for our annual fall Marshmallow Roast. With all the marshmallows and s'mores, the
campfire, the good company, and Sophie's accordion, it was a wonderful welcoming event!
