Fun Outing Club trips need not be long and complicated. We made this one as simple as could be by leaving the
van at home and walking a mile down Park Ave. to enjoy the scenes at Worcester's Elm Park and the trails of
adjoining Newton Hill. It was a super-green, zero-emission way to enjoy a sunny Sunday afternoon.At left, Ali, Jenny, Ashley, Katie and Christine are at in the field at the Newton Hill summit. |
Ali, Katie and Christine on Newton Hill. There are paths which circle the hill horizontally and others which
run from its base to summit. Together they form a web-like trail pattern.

We left Newton Hill and proceeded across the street to Elm Park where we relaxed by the ponds before
heading back to Clark. |
