It's the same drill every year. Our annual fall kick-off marshmallow roast begins with just a handful of twigs, some scraps of paper, the
spark of a match, and a little bit of nurturing. |
Before long it springs to life and we gather 'round to enjoy the warmth and roast some tasty marshmallows.

We begin with just a few friends (and an optional soccer ball)...

...and end up with a gathering of thousands!OK, so maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but we do estimate that more than a hundred people stopped by during the event, and we were thrilled to see so many happy faces. |

Our marshmallows were a hot item, and we even had to get more at the last minute to keep the festivities alive. |

The roast attracted all kinds of crazy kids!

Eventually the fire faded to glowing embers and the crowd slowly dissipated, but the good times we had live on
in our memories. It is always one of our favorite nights of the year!
