Recruit Executives

Fall 2009

In addition to academic credentials and experience, recruiters also seek candidates who possess leadership abilities. Being involved in university associations and activities contributes to one’s leadership development. The GSOM Finance Association seeks to give students the opportunity to develop their leadership ability. We are currently recruiting the following executives. Please see job description below:

Develop a strategic direction and the yearly objectives and strategies
Appoint members to the various committees
Represent the Association/GSOM at functions/meetings

Vice President/Finance Director
Liaise with president
Develop and maintain a balanced budget for the Association
Develop fund raising activities and seek financial sponsorship for the Association.

General Secretary
Schedule executive meetings and prepare agenda
Maintain records of membership, correspondences, and financial documents
Monitor election process

Marketing Director
Market all the Association's events
Market the Association to Corporate Worcester and its environs
Design and maintain the Association's website and communications
Invite guest speakers and the recruitment of new members inclusive of alumni

Event Planning Coordinator (2)
Liaise with Marketing Director for events planning
Process purchase order for items required for events
Book location and ensure that all the necessary equipment is available for events
