Grants Committee

The Grants Committee is comprised of a Chair who is a voting member of the CUSC appointed by the President and a 2/3 vote of the CUSC. Non-voting full-time undergraduate students who are not already members of the CUSC comprise the remaining membership of the committee, unlike the rest of the standing committees. The Grants Committee is responsible for recommending the spending of all Special Projects Funds. The Grants Committee reports weekly on its activities to the full CUSC. A Grants Committee recommendation must be voted on and passed by a majority vote of the CUSC. To amend a recommendation a 2/3 vote is required.

This year, Kelly Wynveen, along with other Off-Campus Housing Representatives, is working with the Chief of Police to produce an off-campus party protocol that will provide students with tips on how to avoid being busted by the police or getting arrested, while not shunning off-campus gatherings.
