The Elections Committee is comprised of voting members of the CUSC. The Elections Committee is responsible for conducting the Spring Elections and all Special Elections. This includes ensuring all candidates adhere to election bylaws, compiling all referenda, and ratifying election results. The committee is also responsible for all CUSC appointments to the Judiciary Committee, the Grants Committee, all Trustee Committees, all Administrative Committees, and all Campus Programming Board Committees. All appointments made by the Elections Committee must be approved by a majority vote of the CUSC.
This year, the Elections Committee is also looking at finding an efficient transportation solution for the student body, based on research about where students would like to go over the weekends.
